I've always loved helping people live more fulfilling and joyful lives. I believe a person with OCD is the expert on their life. I'll work collaboratively with you to create a space where safety, support, actionable steps, and rapport unite for the most effective treatment. The more continued effort we put into your individualized treatment plan, the bigger the progress can be. I also focus on mood and anxiety disorders, along with traumatic experiences including military service, childhood trauma, and sexual trauma.

Get to know Jackie
My personal connection to OCD
I suffered from postpartum OCD. It was a new thing for me, so I started diving into OCD and ERP, and it opened a new world of understanding myself as a person, and understanding that all those scary, scary thoughts I had after pregnancy didn't mean I was "crazy." There was nothing wrong with me. I just needed to find a different way of thinking about those experiences and how to deal with them.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
Seeing people have those wins-especially when they think that there's no hope, or that they're "crazy," or their family doesn't understand. Seeing them be able to just wash their hands one time and not have any compulsions after, or finally say, "I got a good night's sleep because I didn't have all of these thoughts in my head," is so exciting, and we make a big deal about it.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
We get to know each other very well. I'll let you ask me questions so we can become more aware of each other's whole picture. To me, you're not just some person coming in with symptoms. I'm trying to help you live a better life, and I always keep that in mind.
What my Members appreciate about me
People have said that my humor helps them feel more at ease. We don't have to be 100% serious 100% of the time in therapy. We can laugh about certain things. They also tell me that they appreciate my level of commitment to the issues that they bring to our sessions. I've had quite a few Members that also have other diagnoses-ADHD, autism, depression, all these other things-and they've liked how I'm able to put it all together for them, and show that we're not trying to work against their brain, but trying to make sure that everything is working together.
Why our members love working with Jackie
S.O.
I love my therapist Jackie. I feel like she caters to the whole picture of my mental health & not just OCD. She helps me process what I am feeling & thinking through various ways, not just by simply doing exposures. She is a well rounded therapist who cares about what she does, & will help you tackle your past, present, and any worries about your future while also still helping you overcome & learn to deal with OCD with the appropriate tools & individualized approaches. I am very happy I got matched with her.
