Licensed Therapist, MS, LMFT
I use humor, humanism, and the therapeutic alliance to treat OCD. I'm person-centered and provide a supportive, genuine, and collaborative therapeutic experience. When not at work, I can be found at the gym, going on hikes, or watching my favorite anime.

Therapy can be awkward. It might get rocky before it gets better, but it's worth it. Have patience and trust that you're capable and worth feeling better.
I became a therapist because, growing up, I saw family members struggle with mental health and substance abuse. In college, I decided to major in psychology because I wanted to better understand the mental health struggles of those family members. Since then, I've devoted my career to helping others with similar struggles.
I decided to specialize in OCD after working with people affected by OCD as an associate therapist. I became intrigued by this disorder and trained in CBT and ERP. I enjoyed the work and progress people saw. I want to continue helping those struggling with OCD.
In addition to OCD, I have experience in substance use treatment, grief and loss, and depression. I also have experience working with complex trauma, PTSD and various anxiety-based concerns.
Therapy can be awkward and scary. It might get rocky before it gets better, but it's worth it. Allow room for self-compassion and accountability. Have patience and trust that you're capable and worth feeling better.
I encourage you to remind yourself why you reached out to a therapist. What are your goals, short-term and long-term? What would you tell a friend or family member in this situation? Can you offer yourself the same self-compassion and care?
