When I meet someone with OCD, I see more than a diagnosis. I treat the whole person. I believe a warm and welcoming environment is crucial for therapy. OCD and anxiety disorders can be debilitating. However, evidence shows treatment can be effective. This is a process that involves both you and your therapist. It will take time and effort to get the most from treatment. Most importantly: It is doable. Beyond OCD, I have training in treating depression and related disorders. I have a special interest in trauma-informed care.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I'm familiar with the impact that anxiety, depression, and OCD can have on someone's life. I bring that familiarity into every session—in how I interact with people and in how I seek to understand their experience. I've always worked in helping professions, and I've always wanted to serve others. This is my way of making an impact on the world.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I try to build an environment of compassion and trust in every session. Trust isn't a given—it has to be earned. I work to be nonjudgmental, helpful, and holistic, providing care for the whole person and meeting you where you are.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I believe everyone has a deep strength within them. Therapy is meant to help bring that out. If you take small steps, they will add up. As you overcome small obstacles, you can begin to feel more capable of sitting with anxiety, not responding to intrusive thoughts, and seeing that you really are progressing.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
Therapy doesn't have to feel as scary as people can imagine. We take slow, steady steps to address fears, which helps you feel more able to handle them. We go at a pace that supports you, and what matters most is starting, even if it might feel uncertain.
