I know what it's like to feel "stuck" in life. It's so disheartening. NOCD offers the best solution to help empower people to live the life they want and get "unstuck." I take a person-centered approach to therapy, utilizing humor to make the hard work more manageable. I care about you and your needs. I'm on your side to provide support and make the challenging work a little easier. Beyond OCD, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, phobias, and BRFBs (body-focused repetitive behaviors).

My personal connection to mental health
I've definitely been impacted by mental health challenges my entire life. Many family members have struggled with various diagnoses, and I saw how hard it was for them to do things other people didn't find challenging. I also saw how much stigma and shame were associated with these experiences. That's a big reason I wanted to go into mental health—to help people live their best lives and not feel like their mental health issues are ruling or defining them.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
The first thing I always do is validate that you're the expert in yourself. While I may be a mental health professional, you know yourself best. I encourage my Members to correct me if I'm misunderstanding or missing the mark, and I really foster feedback so we're working as a team—not me dictating what to do.
How I approach ERP with my Members
I'm always going to gently encourage you to go outside of your comfort zone, but I'm never going to push you too far. You're in the driver's seat. We're not going to make you do things that may seem scary for no reason—using exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, we'll focus on the goals that align with your values and help you live the life OCD is getting in the way of.
My message to you if you're unsure about ERP
If you're hesitant, I want you to know that you always have choices. You can choose the harder option when you're ready—the one that may feel uncomfortable at first but often leads to a more rewarding outcome. OCD might still be there, but it doesn't have to be in charge of your life.

Good experienceIt's safe to say that I wouldn't be where I am without my therapist, Meaghan Campbell. She is patient and encouraging but also challenging. I also feel heard when we are in session. That's just one of her superpowers. I am grateful to NOCD and the support it provides but I'm most grateful for Meaghan. To my mind, she's the best! I can't imagine this journey without her.

Good experienceI feel Meaghan is having me do things that I know will challenge me but in the way I need to be challenged to improve and learn to cope. She has been really helpful so far and I am glad I found her.
