I’ve been in the mental health space since 2009, and specialize in treating OCD. Before coming on board to NOCD, I primarily did in-home counseling and on-campus treatment where I worked with many disorders and mental health challenges such as OCD and ADHD trauma. During our time, I’ll be using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy. I enjoy how ERP works on reducing negative behaviors while building up your confidence. Many members see results with ERP, I hope you do as well.
Read moreI started treating people for OCD, as well as other mental health challenges such as depression, in 2004. Now, I specialize in OCD and use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to treat any OCD subtype. As much as I’ve learned as a licensed therapist, seeing family and friends deal with OCD has made my work more personal. ERP allows me to treat any subtype while tailoring treatment to your specific needs.
Read moreMy approach to treating OCD is 'Members first.' You are the expert on your OCD. We will work as partners in treatment. I will help guide, but you are in charge. My style is direct and compassionate. Outside of work, I love all things Disney, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Harry Potter. I am an avid reader and a big animal lover: I have a cocker spaniel named Kyle. I enjoy doing yoga and at-home boxing. I also enjoy traveling and trying new experiences, even when they make me nervous. I'm living the ERP life, just like you!
Read moreAs a therapist, I take time to truly listen to a person's experience and ensureI understand what they want to achieve. From the beginning to the end of treatment, I discuss what we're doing and why we're doing it. I want the people I'm serving to feel informed and be a partner in our work together. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, listening to music, and playing guitar. I love spending time with my children, cooking meals for my family, and tinkering in the yard.

Change can be difficult; that's when I like to help people push harder to overcome avoidance, fear, and anxiety that can keep them stuck. When I'm not at work, I enjoy exercising, reading, watching my favorite TV shows, and most importantly, spending time with my wife and children. Some fun facts: I love listening to music and at one time played the violin.
