OCD can be a terrifying condition, but you deserve to live a life free from obsessions and compulsions—and I can help you take that first step. As a therapist, I create a calm, non-judgmental atmosphere to help you feel at ease. In our sessions, we'll challenge your obsessions and compulsions and help you heal from the thoughts that are hurting you. You have more courage than you may realize, and what lies on the other side of therapy is well worth that first little leap of faith. You can do this. In addition to OCD, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
A friend of mine suffers from OCD. It was hard to see him struggle with his own journey when a lot of doctors and people told him just to take medication. Initially, something that interested me about working with OCD was being able to use an approach that doesn't involve just medication, but really confronts OCD.
How my background shaped me as a therapist
Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher, and now I'm also a father of young children. Those experiences helped shape me into someone who really listens and connects with people. Teaching showed me how to guide, encourage, and motivate people. Being a parent has taught me that very difficult things can be accomplished and that they can also be wonderful.
How I create a supportive environment in therapy
I create a safe space by utilizing a judgment-free attitude, being curious, and really wanting to help you grow and overcome challenges. I tend to use a calm tone and a quiet manner, but I will also challenge you a little—very much like a coach pushing an athlete—so you can see that you're capable of more than you might think.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to see the qualities you already have and live freely, where you can truly be yourself. This isn't about shaping you into who I want you to be—it's about helping you become who you want to be.
