I specialize in OCD treatment because the community can face so much stigma and misunderstanding, which makes access to quality therapy so important. I want to be part of the community that fights the stigma. In our sessions, I'll provide warmth and positive regard while pushing you outside your comfort zone through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Things will be difficult to explore and work through, but I'm here to support you along the way. I'm an accepting and nonjudgmental therapist. I also focus on treating adolescents, addictions, trauma, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have personal experience with mental health struggles, both in myself and in my family. I've lived with undiagnosed and untreated depression and anxiety for at least seven or eight years, and I also have family members who went without treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. Seeing firsthand how someone's well-being is affected when they aren't receiving quality care is part of why I became a therapist.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I ensure that you have a place to be heard. I offer validation and empathy for the concerns you bring in, and I'm always nonjudgmental. I'll help you figure out what you need to do to best support yourself.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want you to see that you have resilience, strength, bravery, courage, and the ability to be vulnerable without worry or fear. Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy has been proven to help reduce symptoms of OCD and other anxiety disorders. Trying something new may seem difficult at first, but when we want to grow, sometimes we have to face hard things so we can come out on the other side.

What sets me apart as a therapist

I'm a lifelong learner—learning is something I'm truly passionate about. I'm always willing to understand new things, try new approaches, and encourage others to learn as well. I also know what it's like to be bullied or feel invisible. Through those experiences, I've realized how important it is to truly connect with others and display genuine care.
