My approach to treating OCD is strengths-based and compassionate. I focus on creating a warm, supportive, non-judgmental space where you'll feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings. Evidence-based treatments, such as ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), will help you gradually confront your fears and break free from the cycle of compulsions. Throughout the process, we'll celebrate every small success, recognizing that each step forward is an important part of healing and recovery. My other areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues, and life transitions.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I have people in my life who struggle with OCD, and I've personally struggled with anxiety. It gives me more compassion, and a different perspective.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I really focus on building rapport and getting to know you, especially in that first session. I try to be really compassionate and empathic, making sure that you feel comfortable, and that it's a good fit. I strive to really understand your cultural values.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
There are setbacks and struggles along the way, but it's incredibly rewarding to see someone grow and be able to face their fears and confront the things that terrify them. I had a Member who had a recent death in the family and had a lot of health anxiety about it. He wasn't able to leave the house. He took me on the phone with him as he went for a long walk and did exposures. He hadn't been able to leave the house for a few days, so we felt really proud of that.
