My approach to treating OCD is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help members face their fears gradually and break free from compulsive behaviors. I work at a pace that feels safe yet effective, ensuring that each exposure builds confidence and resilience. I take a whole-person approach because OCD doesn’t exist in isolation. I integrate mindfulness, acceptance strategies, and self-compassion techniques to help members navigate distress while also addressing co-occurring challenges like anxiety, trauma, PTSD, or depression.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
There's a lot of OCD and anxiety disorders across my family, and I grew up in the foster system. I've witnessed the ripple effect of OCD on the entire family, and I know it often takes a village to get one person the help they need. As a therapist, my life experience helps me diagnose OCD a lot quicker—and it allows me to help Members build better support systems.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
We are going to take baby steps, especially when talking about things that are very difficult to conquer. I'm going to ask you: "Are we good today? Do we want to try this, or not?" You are the captain of the ship and I don't go unless you tell me to go.
What I want to help you see in yourself
You're going to be able to do this. We're gonna handle what we need to handle so you feel more empowered to maintain your life and be who you want to be—despite what OCD tells you.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
You're able to sit with uncomfortable feelings. If you're struggling with that, understand that you have control over the session and you can suggest other exercises.
