I approach OCD therapy with compassion and the core techniques of ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). It will be a challenge, but you can do this. I truly enjoy walking through the therapeutic journey with people. I appreciate that my members trust me to guide them safely through confronting and processing their challenges. Seeing people celebrate their wins is wonderful. In addition to OCD, I also focus on treating anxiety, depressive disorders, trauma, ADHD, bipolar, and adjustment disorders.

My connection to mental health
Mental health is something I'm truly passionate about. The more I learn, and the more I work with people who struggle with their mental health, the more I see how important it is that we support those who do struggle—and how much our world needs compassion. That's where my heart is: being that support for people when they need it most.
How my background shaped me as a therapist
I come from a very diverse background and have lived in rural, urban, and suburban environments. I've also worked many jobs outside of mental health that allowed me to interact with very diverse populations, in different settings and circumstances. All of that has helped me be empathetic to people's experiences and meet them where they're at—and it's really influenced the therapist I am today.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I try to be very open and direct, and I remind my Members that my job is not to judge—ever. I'm here to support you in many ways: providing education, answering questions, meeting you where you're at, and being the person you need in that moment. I'm always willing to be flexible and help you feel empowered to work on what matters most to you in our sessions.
My message to you if you're considering ERP therapy
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy can be challenging, and you will be pushed—but there's a reason it's effective. That short-term discomfort often leads to meaningful, long-term change. I encourage you to come in with an open mind and be willing to give it a try, knowing that the work you're doing can truly move you toward the life you want.
