OCD doesn't have to control your life. I'd be honored to work with you through the process of NOCD Therapy. I'll work to understand what you're experiencing and struggling with, then create opportunities for learning and mitigating your symptoms and OCD experiences. I look at whole-life experiences to provide effective strategies. I love building relationships and rapport with my members and watching them grow. In addition to treating OCD, my other areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and complex trauma.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

My son was diagnosed with OCD and generalized anxiety disorder at eight—he's almost 23 now and thriving as a fireman. I was a therapist then and his diagnosis led me to take a deeper dive into understanding the best treatments for him.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I take time to create a bond, so you can learn to trust me. You know that I'm beside you. We go one step at a time. You're in control of our speed and you can always tell me if it's too fast—or to go faster when you feel confident.

What my Members say helps them feel comfortable with me

I live on a farm with an animal sanctuary and I often talk about how animals get anxiety, too. My adoptable dogs join sessions sometimes. I think dogs inspire my Members because we're not much different than animals—we just need to build trust and confidence.

The most rewarding part of treating OCD

The best part is when you're ready to decrease sessions because you're doing so phenomenal. I just want to see you get better and feel empowered to not need me as much. If the symptoms come back, we'll increase—but until then I'll see you in a month.
