My specialization in OCD aims to empower people to live fearlessly, with the courage to face each day. I believe establishing trust between Member and Therapist is crucial. I aim to create a judgment-free zone and will treat everything you share with respect. I will be mindful of your comfort level, yet challenge you to take the next step in your development. I enjoy working with different people of all cultures and backgrounds; another focus area for me is couples and family therapy.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I've had relationship OCD (ROCD) in the past and possibly some "just right" thinking. Learning about ERP has been eye-opening, even for me personally. It's helped me better understand myself, and in turn, I can relate more to my Members. When I hear them describe their struggles, I think, "I get it." That empathy and shared understanding makes a real difference in therapy.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
The number one thing is that you have to feel comfortable. You need to know I have your back, that you can share whatever is on your mind and leave the session feeling like, "Okay, that wasn't so bad." I don't believe in a cookie-cutter approach—every individual is different. I listen, I piece things together, and I reflect things back to you in a way that helps you feel truly seen. When people realize, "Oh, you really get me," that's when trust happens.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to know that you can do this. ERP can feel scary, but it's just like climbing a mountain—one step at a time. Even when it feels overwhelming, you are moving forward. When people realize, "Wait, I just did that—I actually sat with my discomfort and nothing bad happened," that's when the breakthrough happens. They start believing in themselves.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
Seeing people go from being completely stuck to being free of intrusive thoughts is incredible. People who once couldn't function are suddenly saying, "I can't believe it—I don't have these thoughts anymore." That's why I love this work. I see real, life-changing results every day.
