Experience in treating OCD: Dr. Gerald Nestadt is the Rudolf Hoehn-Saric and Evanne Hoehn-Saric Professor of Anxiety and OCD Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Johns Hopkins Medical School and Professor of Mental Health in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins. He is the director of the Johns Hopkins OCD Clinic, and teaches about this disorder. He is active in research, clinical treatment, and education in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).He completed his psychiatric residency training and a psychiatric epidemiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins. He has been on the Hopkins faculty for the past 30 years.
