Taking the first step toward OCD treatment takes tremendous bravery. If you can take that initial step, I will meet you there and stay as long as you need—providing a steady, grounding, and positive presence. I will learn about your environment and life experiences, and teach you new skills to manage your OCD symptoms. It's hard work, but you'll never be alone. I love seeing people living their fullest, best lives. My other focus areas include neurodivergence (ADHD/autism), learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, anxiety, depression, parenting, family dynamics, and grief.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I was diagnosed with OCD, and I'm also diagnosed with ADHD. I'm also the parent of a child with ADHD. I've seen how much these conditions can affect nearly every area of your life, but I've also seen how much improvement is possible with the proper treatment.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I bring my real personality into sessions. I use humor and incorporate my life experiences and my Members' life experiences to make therapy feel warm and personal. My Members have told me I have a really calm demeanor and help them feel comfortable. I think having OCD myself helps us feel more like collaborators—we're really on the same team.

My message to you if you're considering therapy

I understand this is a big step. Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy may cause some discomfort, but it is delivered in a safe and supportive way. I won't put you in harm's way, and I'll be with you every step of the way. We celebrate every little success, no matter how small.

The most rewarding part of treating OCD

Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy has extensive research supporting it, and I come into each session feeling confident that we can make serious, lasting change. Seeing my Members open themselves up to curiosity, try new things, and rediscover parts of life they've been missing is incredibly meaningful.

Good experience

Tried my first ERP session tonight. It worked! I was a little skeptical, but it was life-changing!

Good experience

I had made a journal entry about 2 hours prior to the session. I didn't think my therapist would monitor those. She read it and gave me great feedback (and warm comments/support) during the session. She is always well-prepared for each session and follows up with articles, homework and emails to see how I'm doing. Just love her!
