Living with OCD can feel overwhelming, but change is possible. In our sessions, I'll create a safe space where you'll feel understood. I’ll empower you by teaching new skills, offering encouragement, and providing ongoing support so you can make real progress in your daily life. We'll always move at a manageable pace. You'll be able to face your fears gradually, while resisting compulsions. In addition to OCD therapy, I have experience working with psychotic disorders, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and military sexual trauma.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have a loved one with OCD, and I've witnessed the impact it has on their daily functioning, their job duties, and their social life. What I've seen them go through has allowed me to be more compassionate, empathetic, and understanding of the daily struggles that someone has when living with OCD.

What shapes my approach to OCD therapy

Becoming a mother has really shaped my approach to therapy. It has taught me to be nurturing, caring, and understanding. It's made me patient in stressful situations, especially environments that can be overstimulating. It's also helped me understand the importance of self-care and taught me to teach Members about it, because it affects our mental and physical well-being.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I enjoy being patient and supportive during a session to help my Members feel comfortable, especially when they're being vulnerable. My Members have told me that I'm patient, I'm kind, and that I create a warm space right away when they come to our sessions, especially if they haven't had OCD treatment before. I'm grateful that I can provide a safe space that makes others feel comfortable.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want you to see that you can be compassionate, successful, kind, and confident as you navigate different aspects of your world. I want you to understand that your OCD doesn't define who you are—and that you can take the power away from OCD and empower yourself.
