My approach to treating OCD is direct, supportive, and focused on what works. I’m here to help you hear yourself more clearly, tolerate what you usually avoid, and discover what’s possible beyond fear, shame, or the habits that are no longer serving you. I have a background in sex therapy and substance use, so I’m used to sitting with topics that feel heavy, taboo, or hard to talk about out loud—and that’s often what comes up with OCD, especially when intrusive thoughts center around harm, sex, or morality. I’m honored to help people see that they’re capable of becoming who they want to be.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I grew up in a loving home, but my educational environment was very strict and close-minded. I met a lot of people who weren't able to be their authentic selves out of the fear of not being accepted, and it shaped who I am as a therapist. I always want to create a space where people can be exactly who they are, or find out exactly who they are. I chose to specialize in OCD because of the taboo nature of certain intrusive thoughts, and the fact that not every therapist feels comfortable working with it.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I create a safe, warm, and inclusive environment for my Members by letting them lead. You are the expert in your own experience, and you get to decide how much you're ready to challenge yourself.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to see who you are at your core, and to be excited about who that person is. You have so much good to bring to the world and the things you're struggling with are only that: things you struggle with. Everybody has struggles, but that doesn't mean that we can't overcome them.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
Through all the research that has ever been done on OCD, ERP is the top tier treatment. I know it can seem scary at times, but think of it this way: We're going to take ERP in small, meaningful steps. I'm going to be there with you, and I'm going to help you navigate it.
