Exposure therapy is my jam! It is such an empowering and effective treatment that leaves lasting benefits in all areas of a person's life. By nature, OCD can take over what we love the most. It's so rewarding to witness people rediscovering the joy of life as they move through ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). If you're willing to do the work, ERP works that well in response. Beyond OCD, my focus areas include trauma, PTSD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and motivational interviewing for difficult health behavior changes.
