I’ve experienced firsthand how debilitating OCD can be—and how effective evidence-based treatment truly is. As your therapist, I'll prioritize building a strong alliance with you. I believe effective treatment happens at the intersection of structured interventions and meaningful human connection. OCD therapy isn’t always easy, but you won’t be facing it alone; I’ll be here to guide and support you through each challenge. Together, we’ll work toward building a life where OCD no longer calls the shots. In addition to my work with OCD, I specialize in treating eating disorders.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I have my own personal history with OCD, so I can relate to your experiences. I understand the struggle, and I know it can be really debilitating. But I also know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
First and foremost, exposure and response prevention (ERP) is the most effective treatment for OCD, so if you're looking for help, you're in the right place. And you'll be walked through every step of the process. Everything will be explained to you very thoroughly, and I'm always happy to answer any questions and meet you where you're at.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
Seeing people make progress. It feels like being proud of a kid who hits a home run or gets on base for the time. I especially love seeing my Members take on new things during treatment and surprise themselves with how well they're able to handle it. I think it shows them that OCD can make things seem worse than they actually are, and it's amazing when they're able to realize that.
Why our members love working with Samantha
M.H.
She is the best therapist I’ve ever had. She is so kind and talks about her own experiences with OCD which makes her approachable and relatable. She has somehow found the perfect balance between holding you accountable/challenging you whilst also validating your experiences and meeting you wherever you’re at in a given session. My favorite thing about her is that she remembers small details about your case and will use what you tell her to help understand your background and experiences which she then uses to make an informed treatment plan. She is also very accessible and responsive to messages. Beyond all of her skills as a therapist, she is so warm and funny which makes coming to session feel a bit less daunting.

This was definitely my hardest session by far but I know this is what it’s all about! Very grateful for Samantha for always helping me unpack everything while keeping things light enough that I don’t get too overwhelmed.

Was referred to NOCD since they partner with my insurance to provide ERP services. I was admittedly a bit skeptical at the beginning because I have found that online therapy services can be hit-or-miss. I had spoken with one therapist before Sam whom was very kind but that I did not feel a great connection with. I simply sent a message the NOCD text line and was matched with Sam. In the month I have worked with her, Sam has been beyond helpful and thorough. She remembers details about my case and took the time to take a thorough history. She is the perfect balance of direct (which is often needed when OCD wants reassurance) and compassionate (needed as someone embarks on the ERP journey). I feel like I have made so much progress just in a short time and am so thankful for her and would give her the utmost recommendation. As for NOCD as a service, I have been very pleased. The app is very easy to use. It is very easy to get in touch with your therapist. I like how modern the app feels. I like that people from the service follow-up with you to see how things are going with your therapist and that it is an easy and seamless process to change therapists.

Samantha is really excellent at helping me be introspective and putting ERP into action outside of session. She also is very kind and I appreciate her ED background
