My approach to treating OCD is centered on exposure and response prevention (ERP), which helps you gradually face your fears and resist compulsions in a structured, supportive way. Eventually, this helps you break free from the cycle of intrusive thoughts and rituals. I'll tailor treatment to your unique experiences, ensuring you feel empowered and supported throughout the process. My focus on treating anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, and grief allows me to take a holistic approach to treating OCD, which often coexists with these challenges. Let's help you reclaim your life.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have anxiety, and I have a lot of friends and family who have anxiety and depression. I can relate to what Members are talking about when they discuss their anxiety and how it makes them feel.

What sets me apart from other ERP therapists

I worked at an involuntary inpatient mental health hospital which gave me great insight into mental illness in general, but also who people are behind their diagnosis. I came out of there with a lot of empathy.

My message to you if you're struggling right now

I'm intentionally making you uncomfortable with ERP, so I completely understand that it's not the easiest form of therapy—but let's talk about it. Let's see what's holding you back and tackle it from there.

What I want my Members to understand about ERP

It's not always about completely resisting a compulsion. If it's too hard, I make it manageable. Let's be creative. We could delay or "undo" compulsions, or just reduce the amount of time spent on them. The creativity aspect of ERP allows us to think about different approaches together.
