My own journey with anxiety inspired me to become a therapist. I'll help you face your fears, build tolerance to discomfort, and reduce distress from intrusive thoughts. I'm patient and supportive, and I'll foster self-accountability through honest communication. This process may not always be easy, but I'll be here to support you on your journey. The only way out is through. I also focus on treating ADHD and anxiety disorders; I've found this overlaps with NOCD's treatment approach and makes me a more comprehensive therapist.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I have anxiety and depression, and both of my kids have transient tic disorder, which is when a person experiences motor and/or vocal tics for under one year. In my household, we often talk about being able to tolerate discomfort, rather than avoiding it or using safety behaviors.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I let my Members tell me what they need. My approach is very empathetic and understanding, as well as supportive—I like to listen.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
ERP can be scary, but it's a journey you go through with the support of your therapist. Know that you are allowed to take up space with the good and the bad.
What my Members say helps them feel comfortable with me
Members like my welcoming, nurturing energy. In ERP, there's a bit of discomfort and I walk that fine line where I'm not giving reassurance, but I am giving support.
