I became a therapist because I struggled with OCD and was misdiagnosed for 10 years. I know how scary and challenging it can be to live with this diagnosis. I don't ever want you to feel alone. You can share anything with me; I take pride in providing a safe and loving space for you to be yourself. I will always meet you where you're at, and I'll be by your side, supporting you every step of the way. I also have experience treating depression, anxiety, and phobias.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I'm diagnosed with OCD and it also runs in my family. My sister and my niece have it, and I think my dad has it, too. That's what essentially brought me to NOCD.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
By being there in your healing journey, which I think is really powerful. I can connect with you on a different level because I have OCD. I know how scary and lonely OCD can be. I never want people to continue to feel that way. I think that's what makes me special as an OCD therapist.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to have more independence and be able to enjoy your life. I want you to feel empowered to have more control over your life, and that means knowing more about your OCD and what that looks like.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
I can relate to what you're going through. I'm constantly referring back to my experience with OCD. I know how scary it was for me to take that first step into getting treatment. I think part of that fear is not fully understanding what exposure and response prevention (ERP) is. We'll take baby steps to really dive into your fears and what that looks like. Most of the time, it is your OCD not wanting to start ERP, and so, although it can seem scary, I know you can push through it.
Why our members love working with Kendall
J.G.
I have been intimidated by the idea of therapy for decades, and that has led me to put it off when I really could have used it. When I finally had struggled enough to reach out for help, I worried that I would find a therapist who judged me and pushed me to do things that made the struggle harder. This has never been the case with Kendall. I’ve only ever found her to be compassionate, patient, and professional. I feel completely confident in the treatment and the counseling that I receive in sessions with Kendall. I’ve been able to grow significantly more confident in myself and the outcomes of treatment in just a month, and I attribute a great portion of that confidence to Kendall’s approach to ERP and therapy. I couldn’t recommend her any more highly.
