I am a truly empathetic and non-judgmental therapist. My treatment style is compassionate, collaborative and safe. I will create a treatment plan that is specific to your needs, teaching you to heal using your own innate resilience and capabilities and building from there. OCD therapy requires significant commitment and work on your part, but I will walk this path with you. I have spent much of my career focused on treating trauma, grief and loss, shame and addictions. Additionally, I specialize in crisis management, suicide prevention, serious mental illness (SMI), relationship communication and family dynamics.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have relationship OCD and just right OCD. It's given me immense insight into my Members' perspectives. It's helped me come up with a ready supply of potential exposure ideas for different kinds of OCD. I make sure that each step of the way, Members know that I understand these thoughts and that there is space for them to talk. That's especially important for people who are struggling with taboo subjects, like thoughts about harming loved ones.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I tap into my intimate knowledge of how certain kinds of anxieties feel. We start small, build gradually, and find common ground.

What I want to help you see in yourself

You can reclaim your life from the condition. I work with you to eliminate things like reassuring self-talk and replace them with healthier coping strategies.

What my Members say helps them feel comfortable with me

I build trust with Members so that when I do ask them to do difficult things down the line, they trust me. We will figure out the balance between your personal style and ERP as we go.
