As your OCD therapist, I'll provide a judgment-free zone, building rapport and working collaboratively with you to establish a unique treatment plan. I'll use ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) to work with you through each piece of your OCD, partnering with you along the way. I enjoy sharing space with the people I work with as I help them reduce their difficulties to a manageable level. Being able to see relief brings me tremendous gratitude. I also focus on working with the child and adolescent population and treating trauma.

My personal connection to OCD

I had postpartum OCD, and it was really scary and hard to say the fears about harming my baby out loud at the time. I always had a curiosity about OCD and how to best treat it because at the beginning of my career, I had to refer my clients out because I wasn't a specialist. I wanted to be able to help others in a similar situation or just in general with fears that they can't seem to get over or get out of.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I want to give you a space to talk freely and have someone you can trust listen to your story. I like to bring creativity and even games into the mix sometimes to make it easier for you to come to therapy. We'll celebrate your achievements together, too—I like to individualize that to each person.

My message to you if you're struggling right now

If you do ERP, you'll have a really good chance of lessening the symptoms of OCD. It can seem scary and big to start with, but once you learn about it and are able to challenge those fears, then it gets easier. And then it can give you the skills to be your own therapist, eventually.
