I think there are commonalities in how we treat all mental health conditions: It comes down to disrupting old patterns, establishing new ones, and achieving balance and ease in your day-to-day life. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) can help you recognize your triggers and learn to tolerate them without resorting to obsessive/compulsive behaviors. It's an honor to walk with people on their journey from what might feel like a self-imposed prison into the freedom of life without OCD. In addition to OCD treatment, my professional areas of focus include anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

My personal connection to OCD

OCD runs in my family, so I know firsthand how damaging it can be and that it is treatable. I've also worked with various demographics, and folks with OCD are some of the most thoughtful individuals that I've met and worked with.

What I want to help you see in yourself

One thing I see in folks who live with OCD is that many of them are so smart and so creative, and OCD latches onto that and kind of runs away with it, so returning a person to themselves without that loud voice barking at them is really important to me. I want to help you find that authenticity that we each have within us.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I try to embody that this is me, I'm here, and hopefully you can sense that I'm not here to judge you, and that this is a safe space for you. Part of where the secret of therapy lies is in getting more confident that you can actually do this-that you can climb this mountain, even though OCD might be telling you that you're not strong enough to do that.
