My approach to treating OCD is gentle yet challenging. I'll meet you where you're at and break ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) down into manageable steps. Change is hard, but you are capable of making little changes slowly to improve your life. Don't be ashamed, and don't let fear keep you from getting better! Therapy is a safe space that's meant to help you grow. In addition to treating OCD, my other areas of professional focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, children and adolescents.

What I want to help you realize
You are stronger than what your OCD or anxiety tries to tell you. You have been putting up with this and taking this on, and you've been surviving, but now we're going to help you thrive.
Why I became a therapist
There is some pretty extreme depression and anxiety in my family. My father was a veteran with PTSD that I didn't really understand growing up, which created lots of hardships. It definitely made me want to be able to help other families that might be going through something like that.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
Don't believe OCD when it says that you have to doubt yourself or that you can't do something. You're strong, and you've got this. ERP is the treatment that is going to give you the best chance of tackling OCD and regaining control over the anxiety in your life.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I really care about my Members. I want them to tackle OCD. I see how awful it is and it's a privilege to be a part of helping them get through that. I'll always try to listen, ask you about your life, and share a little bit about mine when I can to try to relate.
