I take a direct, non-judgmental, and personable approach to working with others on OCD. Know that you are not alone. Although these symptoms can make you feel isolated, they are extremely normal and treatable. OCD and anxiety are fueled by irrational fear that is often poorly treated by short-term solutions; NOCD Therapy offers long-term relief. My other areas of focus include depression, phobias, and generalized anxiety. I find it gratifying to help people understand how to effectively navigate these challenges.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I spent far too long dealing with undiagnosed OCD, which fuels my passion for treating this disorder now. Having this lived experience helps me treat Members going through the same challenge. My goal is to get people back into their lives as quickly as we can.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
It takes time to get to know someone new, and I appreciate everyone I see for taking the time to do that with me. I know that sharing your experiences, feelings, and thoughts isn't a small thing, and I try to name that in the first session—especially if it's your first time in therapy, and you have no idea what to expect. I try to be transparent about the process, and show appreciation that you're willing to let me in.
My message to you if you're nervous about starting therapy
I definitely understand if you're feeling that way. But, the amazing thing about exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP) is that it takes a lot less time than most other forms of therapy to see results. If you give it a shot, most of the time, there's a good response. All you have to do is try.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to see your own resilience. You're very resilient just for coming to therapy. It's important to trust that by continuing to show up, even if you don't feel like you're making progress right away. It takes resilience to keep striving and working toward your goals.
