I became a therapist to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health by providing education and support to those who need it. My approach to treatment is open, mindful, and judgment-free. I see our therapeutic relationship as being teammates. I'll help you identify your treatment goals and guide you as you accomplish them. I have extensive experience supporting people with the management of mood, anxiety, adjustment, and psychosis symptoms. I thoroughly enjoy being able to connect with so many different individuals and support them through their journey.

Why our members love working with Kai
V.S.
The session went for only as long as desired, which was a half hour long. We mainly talked about personal family issue that was distressing, that took place about a week earlier. At least 2 mental compulsions were identified from that discussion, and the talking about that issue felt more relieving.
V.S.
I was allowed to review a list of mental compulsions with her during the session, since I had difficulty identifying ones I had. I was thinking my mental compulsions were just categorized as obsessions. Us reviewing the list when we did was indeed very helpful :)
V.S.
I was provided assistance to help me make my DOCS assessment responses more accurate (within the session), and everything else was very good :)
V.S.
It was a just a pre-planned, half-hour check-in that was very good :)
V.S.
We were able to confirm how things are going, and how our sessions would be scheduled in the near future :)
V.S.
Everything just went very well :)
V.S.
Productive ERPs took place, and the everything else went smoothly :)
V.S.
Things were made sure to be up-to-date, and everything else was fabulous :)
V.S.
All the aspects being fabulous :)

I am truly so thankful I found Kaira through NOCD. She is very friendly, genuine, understanding, and very knowledgeable about her practice. I’ve never felt as confident with a therapist as I do her.. she asks the right questions and knows how to flow through the session creating a comfortable environment. I highly recommend her if you are looking for intentional/guided sessions and authentic conversations. 10/10!
