About

As a therapist, my approach to treating OCD is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based interventions. I strive to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where members feel heard, understood, and empowered to confront their OCD symptoms and work toward recovery. Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with my family, enjoying outdoor activities, exploring new places, and simply sharing laughter and stories at home. Being active is also integral to my lifestyle, whether it's hiking, cycling, or powerlifting. One fun fact about me: I've embraced adventure by moving across the country four different times. Each relocation has brought new experiences, challenges, and opportunities for personal growth.

Get to know Christina Hauritz

From a young age, I felt a deep-seated desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. This inclination toward service and compassion initially led me to pursue a career in law enforcement. During my time in the police academy, I realized my true calling was helping people before they reached a crisis point. This epiphany ignited a passion within me to pursue a career as a therapist, where I could work proactively to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and promote holistic well-being.

My decision to specialize in OCD was deeply influenced by personal experience, familial connections, and professional exposure to individuals grappling with this challenging condition. I've experienced the debilitating effects of OCD firsthand, through the experiences of loved ones.

As a seasoned mental health professional, I have a diverse range of expertise, enabling me to provide comprehensive support. My areas of focus include trauma, eating disorders, substance use, anxiety, depression, and autism. I have experience working in various treatment settings, including outpatient clinics, residential treatment facilities, and correctional institutions.

Before starting NOCD Therapy, it's important to understand what to expect and how therapy can benefit you. NOCD utilizes evidence-based approaches such as exposure and response prevention (ERP). You'll receive targeted and effective treatment specifically tailored to your OCD symptoms. Therapy with NOCD is collaborative and person-centered, meaning you're an active participant in the treatment process. You'll work closely with your therapist to set goals, track progress, and develop personalized treatment plans that align with your needs and preferences.

Remember that therapy is a collaborative process, and your comfort and well-being are my top priorities. Together, we can work through your fears and create a supportive environment where you feel empowered to share and explore your thoughts in a way that feels safe and comfortable.
