About
I approach therapy with compassion and dogged determination. Having worked with folk who routinely feel othered and misunderstood, I can handle high-intensity situations and problem-solve with limited/ alternative resources—a therapeutic MacGyver, if you will. No matter the situation, I will help you get to where you want to be, regardless of what we're working with. Outside of work, I'm an avid costumer. I love styling wigs and designing costumes for drag, parades, cosplay, and everyday fun holiday wear. I also enjoy kayaking, meme hunting, cooking competitions, and a variety of artmaking forms.

Get to know Alison Gabel
My journey was not a traditional one. Always fascinated by science and art, I somehow found myself in marketing. A few years later, I stumbled across art therapy and knew this career, which combined the two things I loved the most, was the one for me. I love the challenges and joys that come with this ever-changing career and the opportunity to work with unique people and their diverse worlds daily.
