About

I approach treating OCD by creating an environment of encouragement, trust, and collaboration. If it's your jam, I’m a huge fan of using humor in sessions when appropriate. Outside of work, I love to travel and visit national parks. I plan to travel to every national park in the United States. When I'm not traveling, I enjoy spending time outside with my dog, listening to music, and going to comedy shows with my husband.

Get to know Hollie Spinn

From an early age, I knew I had a heart for helping others. After learning that a degree in social work would open so many doors to helping others achieve their goals, it was obvious that it was the direction for me.

As someone with OCD, I know that ERP is truly the gold standard for OCD treatment. I decided to become an OCD specialist because I know firsthand how effective ERP can be. I've developed a passion for helping others overcome OCD with ERP, because I know it can change your life.

In addition to OCD, I work with individuals who have major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders. I spent several years working in a primary health care clinic. Overall well-being is more than just one’s physical health, and I believe in prioritizing mental health alongside physical health to promote the best outcome for an individual.

As an individual who has OCD, I know how difficult it can be to begin therapy. If you’re reading this and are debating about starting ERP: I am so proud of you! By looking into care at NOCD, you're taking the first step to overcoming OCD and intrusive thoughts. Is ERP easy? No. Are we there to guide you and root for you? Absolutely. I encourage you to take the next step in your healing journey by contacting the care team to discuss more about care at NOCD.

Sessions with me are an absolute judgment-free zone. I know intrusive thoughts can sometimes be taboo and completely opposite of who you truly are. Therapy is a safe space for healing. If you’re feeling afraid or uncomfortable, mention this in session, so we can process these emotions together.
