About

I strive to provide a humanistic approach to my work. I like to use appropriate humor, and I work hard to provide a therapeutic space that allows you to be authentically yourself. I know ERP and OCD treatment can be difficult, but I do my best to create an enjoyable environment that allows you to feel safe while you're putting in the effort to feel better. Outside of my therapeutic work, I love listening to true crime podcasts, going for walks, and doing home renovations.

Get to know Leigh Anne Sellars

I always knew I wanted to be part of a helping profession. I understand the value of having positive people in our lives. I hope to be able to be a positive figure in your life. I also know the life-changing effects therapy has had on myself and other people in my life. I want to offer you the same life-changing experience.

As I started my career, I quickly became aware of the need for more clinicians who specialize in OCD and ERP therapy. I was immediately intrigued by ERP and its success rate. I understand the effects OCD can have on someone’s life. I want to provide people with the tools to take back control of their thoughts and in turn, their lives.

I have previously worked with children living in the foster care system and individuals living with substance use disorders. Each of my experiences has made me the clinician I am today.

This may feel like you're taking a scary step. I want you to know that I am so proud of you. ERP may feel difficult or uncomfortable at times. You may even feel like things will never get better. But I'm here to offer you hope. Many people have benefited from their time with NOCD. It may be difficult, but it will be worth it.

I understand that you might feel hesitant to share some of your thoughts or feelings. I will actively work to build a space that feels safe and allows you to share. Please know that as your therapist, I will hold no judgment toward what you share with me and will honor your confidentiality.
