I'm an OCD therapist because I have family members and friends who suffer from OCD and other anxiety disorders. I want to ensure individuals with OCD can get the specialized care and support they need to manage this condition effectively. My approach to treating OCD is firmly grounded in evidence-based practices, specifically acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP). I also specialize in helping individuals dealing with depression.

My personal connection to ERP therapy

ERP changed my grandma's life because she had illness anxiety disorder and was having constant panic attacks. The doctors were like, "Oh no, she's old, that's kind of normal," and I thought, "No, that's not. We can fix that." Just because she's old doesn't mean that she has to live with this for the rest of her life. It was amazing to see her changing the approach that she had been taking until that point of her life.

The most rewarding part of treating OCD

Seeing somebody getting their life back and being themselves again. As a therapist, I've seen how mental health conditions can overshadow who people truly are.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want you to see your amazing ability to overcome obstacles—your ability to be resilient and bounce back. I want you to see how powerful you are and how much control you can have over your own life.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

When someone has an anxiety disorder or OCD, they often feel guilty, ashamed, or think that they're the only person in the world who has this. I help normalize it and make you realize that you're not the only one.
