About

My approach to treating OCD is firmly grounded in evidence-based practices, specifically built upon the principles of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Outside of work, I love kayaking, teaching my American Bully new tricks, going to the movies with my husband and spending my Sundays having a girls night out with my sis.

Get to know Scarlet Chieffallo

I became a therapist because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by helping them become the best version of themselves. It's a deeply rewarding profession that allows me to provide support and guidance to individuals on their journey to personal growth and well-being.

I decided to specialize in OCD because of my personal experiences with family members and friends who suffer from OCD and other anxiety disorders. Seeing them struggle to find knowledgeable providers inspired me to focus in this area. I wanted to ensure individuals with OCD can access the specialized care and support they need to manage their condition effectively.

In addition to my specialization in OCD, I've devoted a significant amount of time and training to helping individuals dealing with depression. It's an area I'm passionate about, and I'm committed to providing effective support for those struggling with this condition.

I believe writing can help when it comes to sharing uncomfortable feelings.
