At different points in my life, helping professionals have supported me in getting through incredibly difficult experiences. When considering career paths, I wanted to choose something meaningful. I’m so glad I chose to become a therapist. The work I do with others brings purpose and meaning to my life. It has been rewarding to see people return to school or employment, tend to important relationships, and pursue fulfilling lives through the recovery process.

Many therapists are available to help people address various challenges these days. When I learned people with OCD are underserved in therapy, I knew I wanted to help increase support and awareness.

Other areas I've focused on in my career include substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression in adolescents and adults. Seeing people’s lives change through the recovery process is incredibly rewarding.
