She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LMFT
My approach to treating OCD is straightforward and direct. I will be utilizing ERP methods, techniques, and interventions throughout your treatment. Once our plan is set for treatment, I do my best to keep us on track. Life happens, and sometimes we may need to take time to focus on unexpected events. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the library, cooking, and playing games. I'm also an international speaker on topics related to eating disorders, body image, couple and intimate relationships, and Black mental health and well-being.

Becoming a therapist was never on my list of 'things I want to be when I grow up.' It wasn’t until I needed to sit down and talk to someone that I realized what I truly wanted to do with my life. As a naturally empathetic person, I wanted to learn how to help people heal emotionally and mentally.
I recognized how the mental health field underserved people with OCD, resulting in misdiagnosis. I wanted to learn how to make the difference the field desperately needs. I was intrigued by the treatment for OCD, and I wanted to master ERP to better serve the community.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I focus on systemic issues in couples and intimate relationships. In addition to those areas and OCD, I have extensive experience in eating disorders, body dysmorphia and body image issues, anxiety and depression disorders, and minority mental health awareness. As a person who previously faced an eating disorder, I wanted to go into the field to assist with furthering the research and helping people heal, and to show up for other people of color going through eating disorder treatment.

Sharing how you genuinely feel and being vulnerable can be scary. If you start to feel that way, I invite you to simply share it with me. I want to encourage you to push past the fear and speak up anyway. I’m here to help, not to judge you.
