She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LMHC, LPC, NCC
I take a collaborative and non-judgmental approach to treating OCD. I'm willing to do everything I ask my members to do, and I work to challenge specific core fears so we work at the roots of OCD, not just the branches. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, two children, dog, and cat. I enjoy going on walks and hikes when it isn't too hot, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy being around horses whenever possible.

Your intrusive thoughts are unique to you—they're based on OCD attaching to what you value—but you are not alone.
I've wanted to help people in some way since I was a child. I realized that becoming a therapist would give me the ability to help others and advocate for the importance of mental health in our lives.
During my master's program, I worked in an OCD residential treatment center and saw how debilitating OCD can be. I came to appreciate the many ways OCD can impact a person's life and the variety of ways I could help people address those challenges directly. I get excited to do exposure interventions with people working through their OCD. It shows others that anxiety doesn't have to control their lives and that embracing uncertainty is key.
I've received specialized training in therapies for depression, anxiety, trauma, and mood dysregulation. I seek to incorporate any knowledge and therapeutic techniques that can make treatment more effective and help people embrace and navigate uncertainty. I want to continue to learn so I can best serve the people I work with.
Your intrusive thoughts are unique to you—they're based on OCD attaching to what you value—but you are not alone. NOCD is unique in its ability to serve you in the places where you struggle the most. We offer you support through meeting with a therapist, access to past members, support groups, and educational resources.
The more OCD tries to make you believe you're not safe, the greater the urge not to share. The more you share, the more we'll be able to target the core fears OCD is trying to hold onto. I take a non-judgmental stance and give members space to share these feared thoughts. Doing so will lessen the power and control OCD has on your life.
NOCD therapists are trained by our world-renowned clinical leadership team.
