As someone who has experienced anxiety and depression, I'm all about helping people learn to help themselves during difficult times. I'd like to get a good understanding of what your OCD looks like on a day-to-day basis. We'll then use ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) to confront and cope with those thoughts constructively, setting realistic goals. I'll also encourage you to create and foster support systems to reduce feelings of isolation. My additional areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and life stressors.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I've struggled with anxiety and depression on and off for most of my life. Dealing with that really affirmed for me that mental health doesn't exist in isolation. We experience it in real time in every area of our life.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I start from square one and remind you that there is no rush. It's incredibly common to hear Members feel like they're behind. I try to emphasize that we don't need to tackle every single trigger right now. We'll get to them.
What I want to help you see in yourself
More than anything, I try to remind you that you're inherently brave for the work that you do, regardless of where you are with progress. This is incredibly hard work that we're doing.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
It's typically the things that are hardest to go through that we end up growing through.
