About

I try to balance the need for hard work—pushing my members to challenge themselves and to face their fears—with a sense of compassion and understanding for how difficult that can be. I will meet you where you're at. But I will push you to work as hard as you possibly can, so you can achieve your goals as quickly as possible. Outside of work, I have two rescue dogs at home. One of my favorite things to do when I'm not working is spend time with them.

With time, things that may feel impossible now will become much less scary. You'll be able to get back to doing the things that you want and need to do. And I'll be with you every step of the way.

I wanted to make a difference, and I decided the best way to do that was to become a therapist. From an early age, I've been told that I have a unique ability to make people feel heard, identify the root causes of their struggles, and offer helpful advice. As I got older, I found there was nothing more rewarding than using those skills to help ease suffering and help people achieve meaningful positive changes.

When I learned about the critical lack of effective treatment for OCD, I was shocked. I heard the stories of people who had been impacted by OCD—spending years misdiagnosed and inappropriately treated, unable to get appointments with providers for months on end—and I wanted to be part of the solution. If my choice to specialize in treating OCD means that even one less person has to suffer from not receiving the care they need and deserve, then it’ll all be worth it.

In addition to OCD and related disorders, I've treated people with trauma, strained family dynamics, anxiety, depression, and more.

ERP is hard work. Much of our time together will be spent actively engaging with your fears and resisting your safety behaviors. Although this is difficult, the benefits are worth it. With time, things that may feel impossible now will become much less scary. You'll be able to get back to doing the things that you want and need to do. And I'll be with you every step of the way. My goal is for you to work me out of a job. I want you to become your own ERP therapist and continue to do this work without me, however long that takes.

First of all, this fear is completely normal. We all have things we're uncomfortable talking about. That being said, I hope you'll feel comfortable telling me when you're having difficulty sharing certain things. I'll do everything I can to help get you to a place where you can share those thoughts with me. The more open you can be in therapy, the faster we can help you feel better in the long term.
