She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LICSW, LCSW
As a therapist, number one, I'm a non-judgmental listener. I hope that sitting with me is like sitting with a friend or a coach who can help you by listening. I'll give feedback, but this is your therapy—you will be deciding what you're going to be doing in your life. Some fun facts about me: I love to exercise and be outside. One of my passions is yoga. Especially during the summertime, you'll find me outside doing yoga, either in my backyard or at a park.

OCD can be a lifelong illness, but it's definitely manageable if people get the right help. I want to be part of that change for others.
I've always been interested in health and wellness. My journey to becoming a therapist was a little bit different than some other people. I first became a yoga instructor and a personal trainer, focusing on the physical part of wellness. Then I decided I wanted to treat the whole person, so I went back to school to become a licensed social worker.
OCD is a very challenging disorder. It affects people that I know personally. It's something I enjoy working with via exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, which is a model that has shown to work through decades of research. OCD can be a lifelong illness, but it's definitely manageable if people get the right help. I want to be part of that change for others.
I've treated trauma, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, agoraphobia, ADHD, and behavioral issues in children, including oppositional behaviors and conduct behaviors. I've worked with culturally diverse people from different countries, legal statuses, and documentation statuses. I've also worked with families frequently.
Showing up is the hardest part. The rest of it, the two of us will be able to work on together. I will offer feedback that might be challenging at times, but I'm always going to respect your boundaries. We will take things at a pace that works for you and your comfort level.
Tell me you're afraid to share your thoughts. Overall, I'm going to respect your wishes, and I will probably ask for some form of input or feedback. We might talk a little bit more about that fear, and how the situation needs to change so you're more comfortable.
