She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LMHC
As a therapist, I'm very person-centered. I'll be with you all the way, going through the emotions, working on exactly what your needs are. Some fun facts about me: I have traveled the world extensively and have lived in several different countries. I love different cultures. I was born and raised in Germany; I speak French, but my predominant language is German. And I'm crazy about dogs.

The most important thing is not to be afraid of going into OCD therapy. Be positive. It's proven to be highly successful. The condition may not go away, but we will learn to manage and handle life as normally as we can, together.
I started out in elementary education, and I had a lot of children in my classes who had problems and needed help beyond basic schoolwork. I thought that I had to help them in a different capacity. I went back to school to get my degree in human development and master's in mental health counseling. I started in community mental health, because I wanted to get experience with a broad spectrum of experiences. I worked a couple of years in community mental health, and when the pandemic hit, I realized I love working from home and doing Zoom therapy.
I have family members and a couple of friends with different forms of OCD. When I heard a former coworker of mine had begun working for NOCD, I researched the company and heard really good things. At the time, I was treating a couple of clients with OCD, and when I started researching OCD and how to help him better, I learned about ERP and became very interested in that. So I decided to specialize.
I have a lot of experience treating anxiety, depression, grief counseling, and ADHD. I also have quite a few clients with schizophrenia. And I am working on another specialization in social media addiction.

I'm all about building a therapeutic relationship. We will work on sharing bits and pieces gradually. Not everything has to be shared in the first session. We will build trust and a relationship over time, and it will become easier.
NOCD therapists are trained by our world-renowned clinical leadership team.
