Licensed Therapist, LICSW
As a therapist, first and foremost, I provide support and empathy. Then I'll teach you techniques to manage your OCD. Outside of work, I'm a big biker. I bike everywhere for transportation.

OCD therapy is really hard work, but I know that it works. It can truly change your life.
I’ve always enjoyed listening to people, and felt like I have an ability to empathize with them. I wanted to help people and improve their quality of life. The most gratifying part of my job is seeing how people can experience real relief and positive change when they do this work.
I really enjoy the whole range of cognitive behavior therapy, which includes exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy. I like the idea of time-limited, task-oriented therapy. ERP is a perfect type of cognitive behavioral therapy. It's a very specific type of therapy, it’s behavior-oriented, and I believe it works extremely well.
Outside of my specialization in treating OCD with ERP, I also have lots of experience helping people with depression, PTSD, and trauma.
It can be really hard work—you're going to feel all the anxiety and discomfort that you've been attempting to avoid with your compulsions—but it works. It can change your life.
Know that your thoughts are just thoughts, and they don’t say anything about you as a person. I’ll be here for you whenever you’re ready to share your thoughts with me.
