As a child, I saw my father help others in his profession as a minister. I decided that's what I wanted to do, without the religious piece. I have a strong interest in why people do what they do. My undergraduate education in psychology furthered my interest. I decided to help others as a therapist. It's a perfect combination of helping others and embracing the study of psychology.

Many of my family members and friends have OCD. I'm curious about why OCD occurs and the effective treatment for it. Exposure and response prevention therapy has interested me since I first read about its efficacy in peer-reviewed journals.

I respect and admire you for taking the first step toward positive change. This is a scary process, and I'm here to help you each step of the way. I take this duty seriously.

Please understand I'm not here to judge you. You're hiring me to go 'all-in' with you in the process of change. Therapy is a process, and there's no rush to share every single aspect of yourself all at once.
