Velvet Tabb

Licensed Therapist, MSW, LCSW

I approach OCD treatment as a journey that we're on together. I believe everyone deserves a safe space where they can discuss their issues without judgment. I always provide my members with that safety. Outside of work, I love putting together jigsaw puzzles. I also have two cats, one of who will pop into a session if you want to meet her. I'm looking forward to working with you.

OCD therapy may seem overwhelming at first, but ERP is proven to give relief from the symptoms of OCD.

Get to know Velvet Tabb

I wanted to become a therapist because I love working one-on-one with people. I enjoy building a relationship with someone and watching them learn to overcome things that are holding them back in life.

I have personally seen how OCD can consume one’s life. I know that with the right therapy, people can learn how to manage their symptoms. I enjoy being part of that process. I love seeing my members realize their own strength.

I have extensive training in domestic violence, addiction, LGBTQ-related services, and grief. I know people struggle with situations that cause them shame. I'm honored to provide a safe space for someone when they're feeling most vulnerable.

It may seem overwhelming at first, but ERP is proven to give relief from the symptoms of OCD. It's known to have a 65% to 80% success rate in children, adolescents, and adults. OCD therapy may not be easy, but it'll be worth it in the end.

There is no pressure to share unless you're ready. It's important that we get to know each other. After that, you can decide if you're comfortable or not.

NOCD therapists are trained by our world-renowned clinical leadership team.
