My eight-year career as a therapist has taken me through family and marriage counseling, and I’ve dealt with trauma, anxiety, and depression issues. These experiences have led me into the treatment of OCD. I’m very motivated to guide you into a life free of anxiety and pain by using the most proven treatment for OCD, known as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy.
I understand that OCD is making you feel overwhelmed, having to deal with the daily stress and worry about whether or not you’ll ever get better. My goal is to help you with your intrusive thoughts, and to show you how to manage them. With each step forward that you take, you will feel personally rewarded by how far you’ve come. I’m known for making people feel comfortable with a compassionate approach, creating an atmosphere with no judgement where you can feel safe to talk about your life and feelings. Oftentimes, people laugh in therapy, which can help you feel comfortable as you share your story with me.
