Helping others get their life back is wonderful to witness. We have more power over our minds than we give ourselves credit for. As a therapist, I truly listen to a person's experience and ensure I understand what they want to achieve. From the beginning to the end of treatment, I discuss what we're doing and why we're doing it. I want the people I'm serving to feel informed and be a partner in our work together. My experience includes treating post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and attention deficit disorders.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
Everyone has their own mental health state. I've always been aware of mine, and I've been able to understand other people's. That's really important—I don't think you can be a therapist unless you can put yourself in someone else's shoes.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I take a personal approach. I try to listen to you, and find the words and language that match where you're coming from. Sometimes I'll use metaphors to help you understand and identify more clearly with what you're experiencing. I've found that really helps with understanding how ERP works, as well. I also try to highlight any insights you bring to the table, and remind you of your own wisdom.
What I want to help you see in yourself
Your mind is like a bus, and you are the bus driver. All your thoughts and feelings are passengers, and your job is to get them where they're going. Most of these thoughts and feelings, you'll have no problem with. But, there's a very small population of rude passengers saying you're not driving correctly, or that you're going to crash. Your job is not to engage with these passengers. If you do, they won't get off the bus—they'll just keep heckling you.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
I think my favorite moments are when I see lightbulbs go off for people, and they're able to apply what we've taught them. When they actually get their functioning back, go back to work, go outside, and do the things they used to not feel capable of, that is very satisfying to see.
Why our members love working with Bill
W.C.
Sir Bill has a knack for understanding the way my autistic brain works. Hes good at finding different ways of explaining things to me on my level and in my world of thinking. If at first i dont understand, he finds ways to explain it differently till i do understand

Yeah, is a great person to work with and can understand me through my autism and other issues I have. He is great at finding other ways to communicate with me when I don’t understand. He’s also wonderful at challenging me starts is not aggressive and manageable. I would highly recommend him for any other people person who is going through the same situation as I

I really trust Bill and and enjoy our sessions. He is excellent about responding to me in a timely manner as well when I reach out. Zero issues with scheduling – everything is done, professionally and consistently. Still plenty of work to do but I’m in the right place.
