She/Her
Licensed Therapist, MS, LMFT
As a therapist, I am centered on you. In session, I will be with you, without judgment. I like to listen to your concerns first, before offering my own suggestions. When I'm not doing therapy, I play tennis. I love outdoor activities, like walking or hiking. Looking at the beautiful evening sky is very therapeutic for me. And it's also very affordable!

NOCD provides a safe, non-judgmental environment to treat your obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. Your therapist is here to ease your distress and help you learn to manage your feelings.
At first, I was interested in being a school counselor—helping out children in elementary, middle, and high school. I thought I'd like to help children first. Then I found marriage and family therapy courses and pursued that direction, hoping to help everyone.
OCD is a very interesting mental health disorder. I think everybody has intrusive thoughts. But for some people, this becomes excessive and widespread, to the point that they're not able to live happily or comfortably with those intrusive thoughts or repetitive behaviors. I'm very interested in helping people to live more peacefully in a very stressful world.
Over the years, I've seen people with a wide range of mental health issues. Other than OCD, I've treated major depression, anxiety, panic disorders, eating disorders, and phobias.

That does happen. You should know the therapy session is a very safe and secure place. I can wait until you feel more comfortable. I don't want to push you to share.
