My experience with treating OCD:

I have 10 years of experience as a licensed therapist, gained by working in private practice, community health clinics, and treating people in a drug and rehab facility. I specialize in OCD with a background in treating social anxiety, hoarding, anxiety, depression, and much more. As an OCD specialist, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy. ERP is an incredibly effective tool that shows you how to sit with your OCD anxiety so you can have a diminished response to it over time.

About Me

I know how scary sharing your intrusive thoughts can be. It’s what we do in response to them that we can work on, and that’s why I’m here. I'll guide you through your recovery, so once you leave treatment, you’re confident in managing OCD on your own. I like to focus on your strengths and keep you at the center of attention; our time is about your goals. I may push you at times but in a really loving way. You’ll be met with a safe space to speak up about how you feel. It’s important that we’re able to share, laugh, and even cry without any judgment from others. My most endearing moments are when people I treat tell me that their relationships have improved, that they can now face new challenges, and how their lives have improved. That’s what I want for you.

What our members say about
Kim Kaplan

Even though it was my first session Kim seemed really nice and authentic. Being able to see and feel that through the screen was refreshing. I didn’t know what to expect but I am extremely hopeful moving forward. Haven’t had that feeling in a long time.
