I view everything as an experiment: Let's see if it works; if it doesn't, we'll try something else. I always say OCD therapy is like learning how to play guitar. The more you practice, the better you get. Eventually you don't even have to think about playing the guitar. You just pick it up and play a song.

Our time together might seem like a roller coaster ride occasionally. There are going to be ups and downs. But I'm in that car with you. Sometimes I'll ask you to try new things that pull you out of your comfort zone. But my role is to support you, no matter what.

Instead of jumping immediately into compulsions blind, Angela works on giving strategies to deal with obsessions. I feel hopeful that this time it might work.
