My experience with treating OCD:

I’ve been a therapist for over 6 years, helping people overcome their compulsive behaviors. Before joining NOCD, I treated people for OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, while also specializing in anxiety and substance abuse. During our time, I’ll use ERP tools to help you resist your compulsions and overcome your anxiety. ERP offers some of the most dramatic improvements I've ever seen. I hope to bring that level of improvement to you during treatment.

About Me

I’ve been interested in psychology since I was young, and enjoy helping people find effective ways to deal with their unwanted thoughts, feelings, and urges. I’ve gained my experience in community health, inpatient and outpatient facilities, and residential substance abuse centers. I know how to help you deal with your intrusive thoughts, with a practical approach that even includes a bit of humor when appropriate. I enjoy talking to people, which is why I got into the field in the first place. It’s important that I make you feel safe and comfortable before we get into some exercises that can make you feel uncomfortable. But the more you’re willing to face your fears during treatment, the less anxiety and distress you’ll have throughout your life.

I love NOCD and how easy and fast it is to get help. The technology and easy and fast access to great therapy is amazing and to have so many OCD experts at your fingertips is really incredible. I no longer feel alone on this journey trying to get past OCDs debilitating effect on my life. We need NOCD for so many other things in the world. I hope that we will see this incredible model get adopted for many other things as well.
