I have over six years of experience in outpatient services and private practice, treating OCD as well as anxiety, substance use disorders, and depression. My work with substance use disorders has trained me to help people recognize their urges and address their stress, which carries over into OCD care. The Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) approach to treating OCD helps to prepare you for whatever OCD throws at you, making it an empowering method to manage OCD symptoms.
To make progress in ERP treatment, you have to face your fears. Regardless of your OCD subtype, you’ll need to learn how to sit with your anxiety so that you can lose your dependence on compulsions. ERP is a challenging task, with an excellent reward at the end. You’ll start by opening up about your OCD experiences, which I’ll create a safe space for you to share your thoughts. You’ll find me compassionate and easy to talk to, ready to help you take significant steps towards recovery. ERP is an empowering method, and over sessions, you’ll learn how to use ERP tools on your own. I’ll be by your side as you make progress towards your biggest goals. I feel that together, we can work to help you get control of your life back. I’m ready to join you on your journey to recovery.
