I've treated people with OCD for about 3 years now, beginning my career working at a local mental health treatment center. I became motivated to go into the field of therapy after seeing a family member suffer from OCD for a long time. I’ve seen what OCD can do to a loved one, and I want to do everything I can to help others fighting the same daily struggle. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, and have seen how effective ERP treatment can be in treating OCD.
Intrusive thoughts make you work overtime to relieve the anxiety that they create. If you live in constant fear of seeing images that scare you and feeling tremendous discomfort, I can help. I want to know how you're feeling, and I want you to be open with me so I can learn about you and what you're going through. I always tell members during their first session that today is the best day to start therapy. People describe me as relatable, friendly, nurturing, and comforting, but at the same time, I keep those that I'm treating accountable during and after sessions. Everyone has a right to be happy, and by working together, you can find a place that brings you the most happiness.
